About Us
Joe, Dave, & John have spent the past decade working together at Salsify across Go-to-Market, R&D, and Customer Success functions, collaborating to drive growth for their customers and technology partners. Together, they saw an opportunity to dedicate their professional lives to answering a big question, if the first 10 years of Product Experience Management (PXM) was aimed at helping brands and retailers win on the digital shelf, what will the next 10 years look like!?
Our Mission
At Lettuce Commerce, our mission is to deliver technology-enabled business outcomes that drive growth for our customers. This mission requires a new breed of systems integration that combines commerce best practices, deep implementation knowledge for critical systems, and training tools to modernize a workforce. Lettuce Commerce provides deep domain expertise in Salsify, Shopify, Salesforce as well as large-scale digital transformation.

Joe Gaudreau
Co-Founder & CEO
First 20 Salsify employee joining in 2014. Joe was Salsify’s first GM of PIM and also led world-wide Solution Engineering and Customer Success functions. Joe is a culture champion & trusted senior advisor who develops commerce strategies during the day, and coaches hockey / soccer / baseball as a father of 3 at night. Joe aims to inspire personal & professional growth to everyone he encounters.
Dave Simel
Co-Founder & Head of Solution Architecture
First 50 Salsify employee joining in 2015. Dave is a software developer by trade and has had a career as a solution architect, engineer, product manager, and spent two years creating Salsify’s technology partner program and R&D strategy for Shopify & Salesforce. Dave is an avid traveler, and when his dog Karol gets Global Entry will likely be driving growth from points across the globe!
John Apicella
Co-Founder & Head of Delivery
First 50 Salsify employee joining in 2015. John pioneered Salsify’s GDSN practice from initial customer implementations through his role as product manager overseeing the development and launch of Salsify’s GS1 Certified GDSN Data Pool. John is passionate about volunteering and animal rescue as dog-dad to Sassy & Rocket.
Molly Samara
Solutions Engineer
Molly, who previously worked at Salsify, is now a valuable member of the Lettuce Commerce team. During her time at Salsify, she excelled as an engineer on the data model team, contributing to the development of robust governance capabilities, import functionality, and more. Outside of work, Molly enjoys spending time at the beach and going on walks with her two dogs, Luna and Leo.
