Lettuce Commerce partnered with Rugs USA for 6 months on a major site redesign and replatform to Shopify, with the product content on every page of the site powered by Salsify. Our engagement with Rugs USA included Salsify managed services, Shopify integration development, and automation to power the full search, browse, and product detail page experience. Lettuce partnered closely with renowned Shopify Agency SDG to ensure the backend product infrastructure was perfectly matched with the frontend consumer experience.

CHALLENGE: Ensuring seamless integration between Rugs USA’s backend systems and their Shopify store for inventory and pricing updates was a critical requirement.

SOLUTION: Lettuce Commerce implemented several Shopify Flows for bi-directional communication between Shopify and Salsify, ensuring that critical product and metafield identifiers were sent back to Salsify in a timely fashion, allowing 

the Rugs USA team to use Salsify as a source of truth for their Boomi integration to update pricing and inventory in Shopify.

 

CHALLENGE: Rugs USA needed a unified source of truth for their product data to ensure consistency and accuracy across their Shopify store.


SOLUTION: Lettuce Commerce stood up Salsify, establishing it as the central hub for product information. This setup included over 80 discrete fields sent to Shopify, powering aspects such as search, filtering, product badges, and variant options. A nightly sync process was implemented to ensure that product pages on Shopify are always up-to-date with the latest data and new products from Salsify.
